Coffee Class: Light vs. Dark Roasts
- Arthur's Market 35 North Ferry Street Schenectady, NY 12305 United States (map)
We have a unique opportunity to demonstrate the impact of roasting on the flavors we all enjoy in each cup of coffee. In this class we’re serving two coffees — one dark roast by Number Six Depot Coffee Roasters and one light roast by Common Roots Cafe — that both use beans from Chiapas, Mexico.
This gives us the opportunity to compare how the level of roasting applied by each roaster impacts that flavors we all ultimately end up enjoying!
In this class we’ll taste both coffees side by side, discuss how they compare, and discuss the roasting process and the way it impacts the coffee we all enjoy.
$35 ticket includes:
Coffee tasting flight.
Scone, cookie or coffee cake of your choice.
12oz bag of No Six Depot coffee to take home.
Printed brewing guide for your reference.
